24/7 Weston-super-Mare & North Somerset

Bought something brilliant on Facebook Marketplace but it’s ten miles away and you drive a Fiesta? Won a sofa on eBay and the seller wants it gone today? Picked up a sideboard at a B&Q clearance and they refuse to deliver? That’s exactly what we’re here for.

We do single-item pickups and deliveries every single day, all over Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset and beyond. Our long-wheelbase high-top van swallows almost anything a normal house contains, and we’ve got the trolleys, blankets and straps to get it to you without scratches or stress.

The kinds of pickups we do

  • Facebook Marketplace. Easily our most common pickup. We collect, the seller hands it over, we deliver to your door. Usually same or next day.
  • eBay wins. Local or nationwide. We can collect cash or pay the seller on your behalf (more on that below).
  • Gumtree, Shpock, Vinted Big Items. Same routine, different platform.
  • Retail store pickups. B&Q, IKEA, Wickers, DFS, Argos clearance – anywhere their van can’t / won’t deliver.
  • Auction collections. We collect from local auction houses for buyers who can’t lift the lots themselves.
  • Trade collections. If you sell on Marketplace and need a reliable courier for buyers, we’re happy to be that person.

How the price works

Single-item local pickups within North Somerset are priced on the item, the distance between the two addresses, and whether we need an extra pair of hands. Tight upstairs flats or zero parking add a bit; ground-floor with easy access keeps it cheap. We always give you a fixed quote up front so there are no surprises.

Local jobs work out cheapest when both ends are flexible on timing, because we can fit them in between other work. If you’re happy with “sometime between 10am and 4pm Thursday”, you’ll get a better price than “11.15am Thursday on the dot”.

Bigger items, longer distances, or anything needing two people get their own quote. Just ring us with the postcodes at each end and a quick description and we’ll come back in a minute or two.

Cash on collection

Plenty of sellers want paying when the item leaves their house. That’s normal and we’re used to it. There are three clean ways to handle it:

  1. Bank transfer (best option). You pay the seller direct before we arrive. We bank with Natwest, so if it’s easier we can hold the funds and pay on your behalf.
  2. Cash to our driver. Hand it to us before the pickup and we’ll pass it on at the seller’s door.
  3. Cash machine on the way. A small extra charge applies if we have to detour to a cashpoint.

We never delay a job waiting for slow bank transfers between accounts. Cleared funds means cleared funds.

What we can’t do (responsibility-wise)

When we collect on your behalf we’re a courier, not a quality inspector. We can’t be responsible for the condition of the item, whether the seller described it accurately, or whether it’s clean inside. That’s between you and the seller. We strongly recommend you view photos and ask plenty of questions before booking us. For higher-value items, view it in person first if you can.

Larger collections

If you’ve bought a whole bedroom set, or you’re collecting multiple items from the same location, we can usually do that in one run. Send us a list, postcodes, and any photos of awkward pieces (corner sofas, glass-topped tables, full-length wardrobes) and we’ll quote properly.
