Student moves don’t need to be expensive, and they really don’t need to be done in three trips with a friend’s Yaris and a tetanus risk. We do regular student moves around Weston-super-Mare, Weston College, Bristol UWE, University of Bristol, Bath, Bath Spa, Bridgwater and the surrounding student areas.
What we do for students
- Single-room moves. One room from halls to a house-share, or vice versa.
- House-share moves. Whole house from one set of housemates to the next.
- End-of-term lifts. Get your stuff back to your parents’ place for summer.
- Start-of-term deliveries. Drop everything back to your new room in September.
- Short-term storage. Stuff between contracts? We can store it for you.
- IKEA & Facebook Marketplace runs. Kit out the new house cheaply.
How we keep it cheap
Student moves are usually small (one room or one house-share’s worth), so a single trip in the long-wheelbase van does it. We’ll usually price these as either a flat fee for the run or by the hour, depending on what’s simpler. Flexible timing keeps the price low – if you’re happy with us slotting it in between two other local jobs, we can knock the rate right down.
What to have ready
- Things in boxes or bin-bags rather than loose
- Posters off the walls (we won’t do that bit for you)
- Fridge defrosted (if you’re taking it)
- Parking arranged if you’re in a tight street
