Sometimes you just need to shift one thing. A sofa to your mum’s. A wardrobe to the new bedroom. A fridge from one rental to the next. You don’t need a removals firm and a full quote process for that, you need someone with a proper van who can pop round and do it.
What counts as a single item job
- A piece of furniture going to a new address (within the same town or across North Somerset)
- A white good (fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher)
- An item being moved internally within a property (downstairs to garage, garage to attic via the front door)
- A piece of garden kit (BBQ, garden bench, summerhouse component)
- One box, one suitcase, one large item being couriered locally
How it works
- Text or call us with the two postcodes, a quick description, and a photo if you’ve got one.
- We come back with a fixed price, usually inside an hour.
- We book a time slot.
- We turn up, load, deliver, done.
What it costs
Single-item local moves are priced on the specific job: distance between the two addresses, ease of access at each end, whether anything needs dismantling, and whether one person can manage it or we need a porter. We give you a fixed price up front so there are no surprises on the day.
Flexible timing saves money
If you’re happy for us to fit your single-item move in between other local jobs that day, we can usually drop the price. Tight time-slot requests (must be 11am on the dot) cost more because we may need to free up a slot specifically for you.
