Garages have a way of accumulating. Old bikes the kids outgrew, paint tins from three houses ago, a workbench buried under “useful” offcuts, the cooker that came out of the kitchen rebuild, tools nobody can remember buying. We clear the lot, sort what’s recyclable from what isn’t, and leave you with a usable garage.
What we clear
- Tools & DIY. Old hand tools, broken power tools, half-used paint, offcuts, screws, fixings.
- Bikes & sports kit. Outgrown bikes, rusting weights, defunct golf bags, deflated footballs.
- Car & garden gear. Old tyres, batteries (handled separately), oil drums, lawnmowers, hedge trimmers.
- Furniture stored “for later”. Sofas, mattresses, wardrobes that never got donated.
- Appliances. Old fridges, freezers, washing machines that ended up in the garage when the kitchen got refitted.
- General hoard. Boxes, bags, “I might need that one day” piles.
What happens to it
We sort as we load:
- Scrap metal – separated and taken to a metal recycling yard.
- Reusable items – donated to charities and re-use schemes where condition allows.
- WEEE / electricals – through licensed WEEE channels.
- Hazardous waste – paint, oil, batteries, gas bottles handled correctly. We can take most household quantities; commercial volumes need a specialist.
- General waste – to a licensed waste transfer station, sorted and recycled where possible.
Pricing
Garage clearance is priced on volume, not time. Send us a photo or two and we’ll come back with a fixed quote. Where there’s a lot of scrap metal in the load we can often discount, because metal has resale value to us at the yard.
