Move-out and move-in dates almost never line up perfectly. Sometimes you need to clear the old place on a Friday and you can’t get into the new place until Tuesday. Sometimes you’re downsizing and you need a few weeks to decide what to part with. Sometimes a probate clearance turns up valuable items the family want to keep but can’t take home today.
We work with a local storage partner and can arrange short or long-term contract storage to bridge whatever gap you’ve got.
How it works
- You tell us roughly how much you need to store and for how long.
- We quote (storage cost plus the move-in and move-out lifts).
- We collect, store, and bring it back to you on the agreed date.
What kind of storage
- Furniture and household items
- Office furniture and archive boxes
- Valuable items pending family decisions (probate)
- Stock or commercial inventory short-term
- Vehicles and bikes (covered, dry, secure)
How your stuff is stored
Everything goes into clean, dry, alarmed warehouse units. Furniture is blanket-wrapped before loading and stacked on pallets, never directly on the floor. Smaller items go into A1 lidded crates so nothing rolls or gets crushed. You get an inventory list when we pick up and we tick it again when we drop back off.
Cost
Cheaper than a self-storage unit in almost every case, because we share warehouse space rather than renting you a whole locked room you don’t fill. Typical move-bridge for a one-bed flat costs a fraction of a month at a self-storage facility. Send us the rough volume (or a couple of photos of what you need to store) and we’ll give you a fixed price.
Access while in storage
Need to grab a specific item back out mid-storage? Possible with 48 hours’ notice, charged at a single short-distance delivery rate. Tell us when we collect so we can flag those items for easy retrieval.
Need to park your stuff somewhere?
Tell us roughly when and we'll work out the cost.
